Kim Copél is a Historian, Chautauquan and Character Actress. Her love of history is primarily “American Western History” and she enjoys presenting it in fun and exciting ways.

Kim is a resident of Genoa, NV and a longtime local to the surrounding Sierra Nevada communities. She has served on the advisory boards of both the Lake Tahoe Historical Society and the Douglas County Historical Society and currently serves on the advisory board of the Nevada division of the National Pony Express Association.

Kim is the owner and tour guide of Genoa Historic Ghost Tours which promotes Douglas County’s rich and exciting history. Her primary focus, “Western History ALIVE!” promotes Northern California and Nevada history via historical and entertaining venues.

Julia BulletteJulia Bulette, Virginia City’s most infamous “working girl” as portrayed with a dignity and insight into a world so often misunderstood. Julia will share with you her most exciting life in which she was welcomed into society events at venues such as Piper’s Opera House, yet shunned on the street by the local women citizens. In her own words, she will share her most scandalous murder and what became of the man blamed for it.

Charley Parkhurst, local infamous stagecoach driver “One-Eyed Charley” who worked at times with famous Stage Driver – Hank Monk. Hop on board his coach as he takes you on the ride of your life. Runaway stages, robberies, eccentric passengers and ghosts! From Carson City to Carson Valley, and on up to Lake Tahoe.
