COWBOY FESTIVAL 2016 FOOD:

Restaurants, Food Booths, $5 Breakfast, Dutch Oven Cooking

Food and cooking demonstrations such as the old cowboy favorite of Dutch-oven cooking over a campfire, local restaurants including with the Genoa Station Grille, Genoa Country Store, Pink House and Trimmer Outpost will serve special menus just for the Cowboy Festival (details below).

Saturday morning is a special early morning treat at the Douglas Lodge #12 (F&AM) with the Masons hosting a $5 Cowboy Breakfast inside the historic Genoa Masonic Hall.

The Cowboy Breakfast hosted by the Masons will be served in the historic lodge building in Genoa from 8 a.m.–12 Noon, Saturday — $5 at the door. MENU: Pancakes with syrup, scambled eggs, sausage and coffee.

Proceeds benefit the Masons’ local scholarship programs.

Saturday Only — Purchase $5 tickets at the door.

Our group is designed for Dutch Oven enthusiasts of all levels — especially beginners. Our goal is to learn and enjoy the traditional style of Dutch Oven cooking while having fun. We encourage Dutch Oven cooks of all levels to participate in our activities, share recipes and tips, and generally promote our passion for Dutch Oven cooking.
